The only solution at this point is buying a new filter which could be quite pricey. If you choose to ignore this light and do so a few times your filter might still get blocked and your car could go into limp mode, which in turn will no longer allow you to regenerate your DPF. If an active regeneration is activated but you reach your destination before it’s had a chance to clear up the soot on the filter, you will likely get a DPF warning light that could be cleared by driving your car at > 40mph for 15 to 30 minutes. This allows the DPF to burn off the soot even when not traveling at a very high speed.
